Delicious Gluten-Free Waffles
This recipe is a meal in one with fibre, protein, antoxidants and omega oils. They are fluffy and delicious.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Pamela’s Artisan Flour Blend
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 cup plus 2 tbsp soy or almond milk
1 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp agave or sugar
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
2 eggs, large
Optional Additions:
3 tbsp ground almonds or walnuts
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 -2 tbsp hemp hearts
blueberries
You can use all of these options or pick and choose. You may need to add more liquid with these options.
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, mix the liquid ingredients. Whisk together the wet and dry ingredients and use the batter immediately. The batter thickens as it sits, add water to thin until the batter pours easily.
